Love Island recently came to an end, with Danni and Jack being crowned winners (to no one’s surprise!). It is fair to say that Love Island has become our favourite reality show as a nation. We would like to say it’s because we all love watching people being in love, but really we love all of the drama that comes with it. From Georgia stealing a kiss from Jack to Megan stealing Laura’s man, we couldn’t get enough of all of the OMG moments. But now that Love Island has finished, how are we supposed to get our reality TV fix? Celebrity Big Brother starts soon, but before then, here are some of the best reality television shows you can binge on.

The Simple Life – One of the OGs in reality TV, The Simple Life aired from 2003 until 2007 in America. Then best friends and wealthy socialites, Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton, were followed around the country as they tried to do low-paying, manual jobs, for example, working as camp counsellors, serving meals in fast-food restaurants, farm work, and cleaning rooms. The show won a number of awards in its time, with Paris Hilton winning an ‘Innovator of Reality TV’ award at the 2009 Fox Reality Awards. The show also won a BMI TV Music Award and the Top TV Series award at the ASCAP Awards. You can buy the complete series of The Simple Life via Amazon.com. It is a show that is bound to have you laughing throughout. If you are looking for something easy to watch that will provide you with some fits of giggles throughout, this fits the bill.

Ex On The Beach – Ex On The Beach follows a group of singletons while they are on vacation in a huge villa. However, the catch is that their ex could come out of the sea at any moment. Some exes reconcile, others spend the whole time screaming at each other. It’s trash TV at its best!

Real World – If you are a fan of Big Brother or Jersey Shore, you will like the Real World. This is a show that run from 1992 until 2016, and it followed a bunch of strangers in different parts of America. It is basically like Big Brother, except the cast members can leave the house, get a job, go party, and interact with others. There is a lot of fights, alcohol, and sex!

True Love Or True Lies? – This is a show that is currently airing on MTV and it is hosted by the gorgeous Maya Jama. You can find out when to catch it by heading to UKAirDates.com. In this show, couples battle it out to be crowned the perfect couple. But what they do not realise is that a number of ‘couples’ in there are not couples at all – they are faking it. At the end of each show, all couples have to vote for who they think is fake. The couple with the most votes will then leave the villa, but not before they reveal whether their love is a lie. If they are faking it, £10,000 is added to the prize money, which started at £50,000.

Say Yes To The Dress – Shopping for a wedding dress is one of the most exciting yet stressful moments in any woman’s life. Say Yes To The Dress follows soon-to-be brides as they go on the journey of choosing their dream wedding gown, with the help of their family and friends.

Total Divas – If you are a fan of the WWE, this is the reality TV show for you. You can watch the ‘divas’ of the WWE as they go about their normal lives. This gives you a unique glimpse into the women behind the world’s most famous wrestling company. The show run from 2013-2016, and the Bella twins and their partners were a big hit.

Making The Band 4 – As you can tell by the title, there have been a number of ‘Making The Band’ series. However, you may as well skip to series 4, as that’s when the real music and drama happens. In this series, P. Diddy creates a new girl band, a new boy band, and a solo artist. They all have to compete with each other in order to bag the most recognition in the music industry. At the same time, there’s plenty of romance and drama mixed in for good measure. The bands, Day26 and Danity Kane, both went on to have success, so you may have heard about them.

The Millionaire Matchmaker – This show follows professional matchmaker Patti Stanger, as she helps her millionaire clients who are looking for love. Most of the time they are insanely rich yet completely oblivious to the fact that they are rubbish at dating. Patti soon puts them in their face. She’s hilariously harsh with her one-liners and quick wit. Plus, there are a few celebrity clients thrown in for good measure. Some familiar faces who have been on the show include Dina Lohan, i.e. Lindsay Lohan’s mother and manager, rapper Lil’ Romeo, professional tennis player Sam Querrey, member of TLC Rozanda ‘Chilli’ Thomas, and champion MMA fighter Luke Rockhold.

So there you have it: plenty of different shows that will enable you to get your reality TV fix now that Love Island has ended.
